The teachers develop a daily curriculum based on the monthly packet we receive from High Reach Learning. Each packet includes a theme for the month with suggested activities focusing on a letter, number and color. The curriculum is designed to provide repeated exposure of this letter, number and color throughout the week or month. You will receive a handout that outlines the theme for the month. Often the handout will suggest activities that can be done at home to further enhance your child’s learning.

Communication:
Communication is very important for our parents and to us at Pride and Joy Academy. As a parent of a Toddler or Two year old you will be provided with daily information on your child’s experiences throughout his/her day.

Environment:
Our Toddler/ Two year old room is designed to have a lot of open space for your child to master the skill of walking. We offer a cheerful environment that is clean and safe. A carpeted area for circle time, tables for crafts and eating meals/snacks. All of the toys in the room are age appropriate. There are books, and interactive electronic toys. Mats are provided for naptime.

Our Staff:
Qualified, caring and nurturing staff care for your child while at Pride and Joy Academy. The teachers in this classroom work together to provide fun learning activities for your child. Our teachers are all experienced and CPR certified. Each teacher receives 15 hours of training per year.
