Pride and Joy Academy has chosen two excellent curriculums. High Reach Learning for our infant through pre-school three-year old programs and Frog Street Press for our Pre-school four-year old program.

High Reach Learning has been in the early childhood market for more than 18 years. The curriculum is dedicated to creating a high-quality, developmentally appropriate environment that allows teachers to easily facilitate a creative, hands-on learning experience for the whole child. We believe the High Reach program is the best curriculum for our Infant through our pre-school three-year old classrooms.

Our Pre-K 4 and 5 year olds are introduced to "Early Literacy" through Frog Street Press. Children begin to recognize letters, manipulate combinations of letters, and segment sounds with letters to spell words. As early literacy emerges the importance and effectiveness of phonics instruction, developing language abilities, and independent writing has proven itself year after year.
